I understand treating addiction is difficult, and recovery is far from effortless, because it is a lifelong problem. After great consideration regarding what I could do to help, I decided to open an outpatient treatment program (OTP).
As a board-certified, full-practice nurse practitioner since 2014, and a nurse for 20 years, I have always had a passion for helping others.
Opioid addiction affects people of all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities. With my clinical experience in primary care, house calls, long term care, sub-acute rehab, behavioral health and addition medicine, I know how to make a difference.
After having the opportunity to work with patients who are battling or in recovery from opioid addiction, as well as personal encounters, I grew increasingly empathetic towards this population.
I am committed to supporting everyone with respect, non-judgement, and unconditional positive regard as you begin your journey to recovery.
